5 Great Things For This Weekend

1.Guilting the Lily "Summer's Guiltiest Pleasures for Guys"? Our gallery lists ‘em, from Jersey Shore's fist pumps to Big Brother's verbal slap fights, bubble gum pop to things that go bump in the night (hellooooo, Eric Northman). Don't be shy about peeking, ladies… did I mention Eric Northman's involved?

  1. La Vita de Bella Click through to see our sultry cover (featuring Bella and Edward's honeymoon) before it hits newsstands! With only 98 sleeps to go until The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn—Part 1 sinks its teeth into the box office, it’ll get your blood pumping
  2. 'Strike' It Up See an exclusive preview of Strike Back, Cinemax's 24-esque new action series (premiering tomorrow) about a maverick former Special Forces operative on the hunt for a Pakistani terrorist
  3. Read What Happened Before he was the man who brought all those Housewives into our lives, Andy Cohen was just a kid with three wishes in his heart and no patience for jackholes. Now the Bravo exec and Watch What Happens Live host has signed on to write a memoir of his climb up the reality ladder

  4. Music with Bite True Blood put Jace Everett on the map by tapping his song "Bad Things" for its theme; before this weekend's episode, check out our exclusive stream of a new version by San Francisco rockers Black Rebel Motorcycle Club that will be on the show soundtrack's third volume (in stores Sept. 6)

SUN SAT FRI

CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock

8-11PM  ABC

Filmed over four nights in June during Nashville's annual fanfest, this three-hour concert special is a who's who of country music, including Keith, Brad, Taylor, Dierks, Miranda, and Blake. But it's Jason Aldean who'll likely get viewers talking. In addition to having Kelly Clarkson join him on stage for their duet ''Don't You Wanna Stay,'' he performs ''Dirt Road Anthem,'' the divisive No. 1 hit that has him laid-back swerving like he's George Jones — and rapping. ''There's people out there that can't stand it, and there's people out there that can't get enough of it,'' says Aldean. ''People can say what they want, but this song has probably been the biggest of my career.''

30 Minutes or Less 30 Minutes shouldn't work. But it does. A stoner movie without the spliff smoke, it's proudly, sexually lewd with no cushion of boyish sweetness B+ Full review
Rise of the Planet of the Apes The biggest disappointment of the halfhearted, digitally impersonal Rise of the Planet of the Apes, apart from how just-okay it is in almost every way, is that the grandeur of previous Apes films is gone B- Full review
