The final countdown

Dear omss, Can you believe it?  We are less than 90 days away from our Dedication Ceremony! As we approach the summer – the final season of our historic journey – everyone here at the Washington, DC Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial Project Foundation is rejoicing over the tremendous progress we've made together over the years. You have been a special partner in this amazing effort to "Build the Dream," and I cannot thank you enough. Thanks to you, artisans, sculptors, craftsmen and landscapers are hard at work putting the finishing touches on what we believe will be the most magnificent memorial in Washington, DC. I can't wait for you to see it. But I also can't take my eye off our financial situation. We have one more challenge to overcome before we can unveil our magnificent statue to the world: to raise the final $8 million to complete this Memorial. That's why I am reaching out to you again today and asking you to please make a special "Three Month Countdown" Gift of $90 to the Memorial today. I know you have a lot on your plate and have other financial responsibilities, especially as we move into summer. But I hope you have something left over to donate to the Washington, DC Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial Project Foundation this year. While a symbolic donation of $90 – just one dollar for every day between now and the Dedication Ceremony – would be a tremendous help, anything you can send is deeply appreciated.
