Emily VanCamp stars as an idealistic young teacher who helps turn a run-down, makeshift classroom in a homeless shelter into a real school and its unruly students into kids who love to learn. Treat Williams is the kindly school-district administrator who recognizes her efforts. And oh my God, do we miss seeing them together on Everwood! But they're also lovely here, doing the whole Dangerous Minds thing that's admittedly hard to resist — and, naturally, based on a heartwarming true story — even if it's nothing particularly new. B
